INFORMATIONAL SEMINAR ON FEDERAL FUNDING SOURCES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES
With the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Byrne Justice Assistance "Direct" Grant Award will be available to many more local governments than usual. The Office of Criminal Justice Programs' website has an overview of this funding with detailed information on how to access the funding and the focus areas of the grant award http://tennessee.gov/finance/rds/ocjp.htm. This information has also been attached to this letter, along with a sample letter that will be mailed and emailed out to your city mayors eligible to apply for these grant funds from the federal government.
